📽🎟 Last chance for a Full Season Pass
The curtain is closing on getting a Full Season pass and save. Please let a friend know. Believe it or not, you can still save a few bucks if you get the Full Season pass for $99 for the 9 remaining films - the three individual films left to show this fall, plus the six in the Winter pass.

See our Refer Madness contest info below to help a current member win a free pass for next season.

But we also have a Winter Pass available for our 6 films in 2026.

If you haven’t already joined us, please go to our Passes page on our website.

  • Full Season $99 - all remaining 9 films (only $11.00 per film)

  • Winter 2026 $66 - 6 films

For those who have passes already, you should have picked them up at the desk at the last film. If you haven’t picked them up there, just check with our volunteers and we will give them to you. Even if you store the QR code on your phone, take the paper pass so we know that you have your pass.

📽🎟 Individual tickets are always available

Wanna try us out for a film or two, instead of an entire season? You can always just pick and choose which films to see when you can. Individual tickets are on sale for any film. You will be able to purchase tickets online with your credit card. Or you can also buy them with cash at the door. The price is $12, taxes and fees included. Get them in advance to avoid waiting in the ticket line.

📽🎉 WIFF - Windsor International Film Festival - runs until Sunday

WIFF is well underway, concluding this weekend. One of the films "Montreal, My Beautiful" took home the Windsor International Film Festival's prize in Canadian Film. It tells of "a love story that feels both timeless and new — one that resists familiar tropes in its portrayals of race, gender, and the immigrant experience."

Some of your cinéSARNIA committee are checking out some of the exciting presentations, to hopefully bring back to the Sarnia Library Theatre to enjoy in our Winter 2026 series.

Check out their website at https://windsorfilmfestival.com/

📽🎟 Our third film - “Bad Shabbos”

Showings:

  • Sunday, November 2 @ 2 pm

  • Monday November 3 @ 7 pm

Synopsis:

One dinner. One disaster. Infinite laughs.
Bad Shabbos turns a sacred Sabbath gathering into a brilliantly unholy mess. A sharp, modern comedy about family, faith, and what happens when everyone shows up with baggage.

📽🎟 Our final two films of Fall 2025

🎞️ The Life of Chuck – November 23, 24

A mind-bending, heartfelt adaptation of a Stephen King story that celebrates one man’s life in reverse — from the end to the beginning — blending cosmic mystery with human wonder.

🎧 DJ Ahmet – December 7, 8

A vibrant North Macedonian drama about a young man torn between his passion for music and the pressures of tradition, set against the beat of a changing culture.

📽🎟After Film Discussion “Culture Club”

Many of our subscribers are enjoying the opportunity to chat about the films they’ve seen at cinéSARNIA while savouring a coffee and pastry at Coffee Culture. With your pass or ticket, you will also receive a 15% discount. As an added bonus on Monday night, some of the remaining pastries baked that day were on sale after 9 pm for ONE DOLLAR!

I encourage everyone to drop in following (or preceding) the film and have a time to chat with fellow cinephiles. Maybe some of our committee will be there too. ☕
